Shop Manager

We are recruiting!

We are looking for a Shop Manager to join our team and lead CVL’s community reuse shop as a high-performing retail and logistics operation, growing income and impact. You will be based at Furniture 4 Everyone, 426 Marton Road, Middlesbrough, TS3 9PA, with local travel for collections and deliveries.

CVL exists to make unfurnished tenancies liveable quickly and affordably, while reducing waste and creating local jobs. The community shop redeems Middlesbrough Council awards (up to £1,000 per household) and also sells to the public at the same fair shelf price, with delivery and installation available.

Stock is sourced through the Reuse Network and local streams (including commercial returns and end-of-line routes), supported by container storage behind the shop.

This role is part of CVL’s growth plan supported through CAF repayable social investment, with a clear operational ramp and milestones, including establishing online channels in the early months.
