Get involved…

Pioneer Credit Union - Monday and Friday 9:30am - 11:30am

If you live in the Middlesbrough authority area then you can join Pioneer Credit Union and take advantage of savings accounts and low cost loans. You don’t need to book an appointment, just pop along for a chat.

Health and Social Care Level 1 - Tuesday 9:30am - 2:30pm (Fully Funded)

Join us for a 12 week Health and Social Care Level 1 course delivered by Learning Curve Middlesbrough.

Steph’s Tea and Cake - Tuesday 1pm - 2:30pm (50p)

Join Steph from Brambles Farm in the “community room” where she encourages people to come together for a chat, a cuppa and a cake to reduce isolation and make friends. Everyone is welcome and the cakes are amazing!

Slimming World - Wednesday and Saturday 9:00am - 12noon

Join Julie from Slimming World in the “community room” where she offers inspiring weight loss sessions and community support. You don’t need to book and there are toys for little ones to play with.

Teen Konnekt Youth Club - Wednesday 5pm - 7:30pm (FREE session)

We have commissioned Kidz Konnekt to deliver youth provision for kids in TS3 ages 11 - 15. No need to book, just pop in for a consent form and join in the fun!

Creative Craft Club - Thursday 1pm - 3pm (FREE session)

Join Zoe from SenZory Art in the “community room” where we come together to enjoy some creative relaxation. It’s a great way to improve mental health and self-esteem and reduce isolation and stress. You don’t need to be an artist, just be willing to try something new. (All ages welcome - under 16 to be accompanied by an adult).

Community Job Club - Friday 9:30am - 4:30pm

Join Routes to Work every Friday for a drop-in job club to support with job search, applications, interview skills and CV’s . It’s a relaxed environment where you can enjoy a cuppa and receive information, advice and guidance.

The Link

The Link team are now based in the Community Ventures centre. They are a locally based professional mental health and emotional wellbeing provider who provide therapeutic services to children, young people and families across the North East including Redcar & Cleveland, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees and Darlington.  Their services include a wide range of workshops and training, therapeutic assessments, one to one therapeutic interventions including specialist therapies.  

Step Forward Tees Valley

The Middlesbrough team are now based in the Community Ventures centre. Step Forward Tees Valley help people across the Tees Valley to overcome barriers to work or training so they can move forward with their lives.
