We’re passionate about creating learning experiences for children to grow, make friends and feel part of their local community. Our team, who are all Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and paediatric first aid trained and live and work in the local area, offer quality childcare for two to five year olds to develop their full potential, whatever their needs require. We ensure children are school ready, and work alongside other professionals such as speech and language specialists, health visitors and early years specialist support services.

We pride ourselves on the community support and safe spaces we offer across East Middlesbrough and continue to work hard to maintain a warm, caring and creative environment in Thorntree, to nurture the growth of young people. We’re also here to offer support and guidance to parents and families in the local area, so anyone is welcome to say hello and talk to us.

Our spaces

Our indoor area is large and airy with lots of space for children to develop and move around safely in all our learning zones. Around half the children we work with have sensory needs, so we offer a permanent sensory space with lights, sounds and textures to stimulate each child’s development. We also have a safe and secure outdoor area with lots of play equipment to encourage physical development and healthy wellbeing.

We’re open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, all year and through the school holidays (excluding bank holidays), with additional flexibility around these times depending on your needs.

Our holiday club

In the holidays we open our doors to children up to the age of 8 years old. Fees and drop off services also apply.

Pick up and drop off service

We offer a free of charge local pick up and drop off from the North Ormesby and St Alphonsos primary schools.
